MaintenanceManager Paint Plant & Assembly


Reportingto: Managing Director


·Provided support to ensure all preventative, predictive and breakdownmaintenance in paint and assembly machinery and equipment for both electricaland mechanical disciplines.

·Optimize all equipment to ensure sustained quality in the production process,control documents should be kept tracing maintenance aspects.

·Support and provide input to TPM (Total Predictive Maintenance or TotalPreventive Maintenance) to facilitate improvements and identifyshortfalls/problem areas and equipment.

·Actively participate in the preparation and submission of Paint & Assemblyproposals for recording and verification to ensure continuous improvement andoptimization.

·Manage, control and record spare parts usage and ensured optimum stock levelsand control.

·Monitor and analyse all equipment breakdowns and provide statistical reportingon trends and occurrences with corrective actions.

· Useeffective problem-solving techniques to determine root cause analysis offailures and defects.

·Compile and update work instructions were deemed necessary for maintenance andproduction processes.

·Support start-up and shut down processes of the plant/facility and machinery.

·Liaise with internal stakeholders (Production, Quality, Process & Moulding)where and when required to ensure continuous supply and provision ofmaintenance related support and resources.

 ·Do shift allocations and monitor time keeping of employees under hisresponsibility/department,

·Responsible for the distribution of the work list for the PreventativeMaintenance and general repairs/services as required.

·Focus on continues improvements to the equipment/process/methods being used.

·Responsible for facilities/buildings in terms of maintenance. (excludingMoulding)

·Guide the staff, from a mechanical/electrical point of view, as to what needsto be done, the method and the expected result.

·Control/update and implement the Filter Management System and scheduled plannedchanges.

·Assist cleaning company with facility/jig cleaning planning and scheduling.

Qualificationsand Skills:

·Grade 12

· B-techor Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent

· 7years or more experience in The Field. (Automated Plant Maintenance)

· Mustbe able to do programming, fault finding and maintenance on:

a)PLC, b) FANUC Robots,

c)SHINI Robots,

d)Alfa Robots,

e)ENGEL Robots,

f)ABB Robots and

g)Sepro Robots
