Reportingto: Quality Manager
•Ensure robust level of Quality parts being produced and assembled for deliveryto the customer.
•Double check any concerns and Investigate all potential concerns in terms ofproduct conformity, wrong supplies and Quality performance in the shift.
•Ensure delivery of product is in line with customer expectation based on BMW BIrating.
•Support Quality Manager with all reasonable requests in terms of Company goalsand objectives.
•Lead Quality team in shift and ensure clear communication and support toQuality team members.
• Drive continuous improvements.
•Ensure Process adherence by Quality team.
•Escalation of all concerns to Senior management where the customer is affectedand or at risk.
•Maintain discipline of the team and support disciplinary code for anymisconduct.
•Manage time and attendance of shift.
•Work with Shift Managers (Moulding) as a coercive team
•Support training & development of Quality & production for continuousimprovement
•Responsible for ensuring that hourly reporting internally to team members anddrive containments and corrective actions for concerns.
•Responsible for tracking concerns daily in terms of Company performance for alldefects at Customer.
MinimumQualifications and Skills:
·Degree / Diploma – Quality or Industrial Engineer
·Minimum of 3 – 8 years in a Quality & Continuous Improvement environment.
·Minimum 2-years Supervisory experience.
·Ability to Supervise a large workforce.
· Indepth knowledge of ISO TS 16949, VDA6 and AIAG – Core tools and systems
·Strong communication skills.
·Strong problem solving and solution driven, must be able to make decisions andtake responsibility for Quality and delivery to customer.
·Willing to work under pressure.
·Management and training to the BMW’s specification knowledge
·Punctual and attention to detail companies main KPI’S:
·Achieve all quality targets set out for shift
· Meetcustomer requirements
